Internet Marketing

Technology is vital link in how modern corporations identify, acquire, transact with, and keep their customers. This course provides an introduction to both the technology infrastructure most relevant to the customer relationship as well marketing issues which result from the application of computers and communication networks.

As part of this class, teams will be competing in the Google Online Marketing Challenge.  This is a wonderful opportunity to develop real experience in running an online marketing campaign for a local business with real money while competing with teams from around the world.  The top teams (as ranked by Google) will be flown to the Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA for a 7 night stay in a 5 star hotel.  Last year there were 15 teams selected for this honor.
